Wheale is on a distinguished road
amino acids and taurine

Ive recently been looking at purchasing some amino acids (other than glutamine which i use already) and am not sure how benefical they really are and which ones to choose. BCAA's are well within my budget and im considering buying them but then i started to look at that area more I noticed several other types that I know very little of. Arginine is a semi-essential amino acid and really expensive do you guys think its worth it for what it is I know alot of you use Nitric Oxide products and it is the main ingredient but whats the difference between a semi-essential amino acid and an essential one:confused: . Below is a piece i found on bodybuilding.com about taurine which is used in a alot of caffine energy drinks does anyone use it and recieved any benetfits, would you recommend it? any other useful aminos that may be benefical which aren't found in protein shakes or meat that be easily supplemented with providing benefits and are cost effective? thanks for any advice

Taurine is an amino acid like glutamine that is earning more and more respect from bodybuilders and protein scientists. Taurine has several critical functions and can act similarly to creatine in that it expands your cells by helping the muscle cell itself hold more water, increasing cell volume. For a lifter or bodybuilder, this is significant because expanded muscle cells can boost hydration resulting in a higher rate of protein synthesis and bodybuilders will appreciate the increased appearance of muscle fullness

no - glutamine , arginine

they don't throw taurine in energy drinks as a filler, it's actually useful, along with it being useful for using alongside clen.
