Whey after workout?!

Hi all, I normally do a 25-30min CV session after my workout. Should I be taking my Whey after the Weights or after the CV?

After the Cardio as long as you get something down within 40mins of doing your weights you will be fine.

depends on what your aiming for, if your after weight/fat loss i would take it after the cv and the weights, but if your doing the cv for the cv benefits id take 20g of whey after the weights then another 40g of whey and 60-80g of simple sugars after the cv

table sugar, honey or pure dextrose powder if you can get it, maltodextrin is alright if you cant get anything else, its the amount not neccessarily the type

1 teaspoon = 5g carbs so whatever that comes to, 12 spoonfulls?

dont panic bout the carbs Kev speshly after training, as the others have already said its very nessecary to use a simple sugar( i use glucose cos its cheap) in your post work out whey, to pull the protien exactly where it needs to be.
also this,ll give you a natural insulin spike too !

Whats the carb ratio on glucose mate? do you use powder? Only worried as I train last thing then go to sleep!!

dunno kev mate , but on the going to bed on a protien, isnt it better to go bed on a slower protien (ie casien), i believe this keeps dripping into you for longer.
all i know is whey is quick to be absorbed and if your really serious and sleep for 8-9 hours you have potentially 4-5 hours being protien starved and this time is somewhat shortened by using casien.

someone tell me if i,m talking b*llox, but i read it someplace a while ago.
