I think fish oil can come from any fish, whereas cod liver oil is just cod?

Just been chatting about this to a friend who advocates fish oil over cod liver oil due to the liver being an organ used to remove toxins from the body......these toxins can translate into the oil extracted.......seems logical to me......then again so does magic!

Cod liver oil is very high in Vitamin A

Vitamin A can cause some liver toxicity. Also stores in the liver so you can and will overdo it with Cod liver oil.

Fish oils usually come in 1000 mg and are very good for getting your Omega 3 fatty Acids.
They are the essential fatty acids as the body does not produce or convert to those.
This is a fat that needs to be supplemented.

Dont worry about the cod liver and take just the fish oils.
They are cheaper and safer than cod liver oil.

So forget about the cod liver and buy fish oils.
Many benefits some of them include Supplementing Omega 3 Fatty Acids, reduce LDL and triglicerides to help lower cholesterol, Raise good prostaglandins and good eicasinoid production, a very good natural anti inflamitory, lowers homosystine levels, excellant and probably the best for helping cardiovascular disease, taken with meals can lower the absorption of the meal and give you more stable blood sugars for better energy.

Great stuff.
I take 12 a day.
Take 20 or more a day for anti inflamitory.

scott - me too (me taking 12 based on alchemy - suggests 6 but 12 for optimal) you take 12 of the 1000mg ones? The ones alchemy recommends, the fisol are only 500mg each....totalling 6g/day. you see more benefit by doubling this?

Benefit?..Well, actually yes!
Age

When you are young, you can get away with anything.
Older, need to tweak things some.
Fish oils*offer many things that I would never give up.
Prostate, cholesterol, homosystene, immune system, mood, I would hammer all you are willing to put up with.
Id take more if I was a bigger eater.
Really!
Thats why I ment older.....Better for me than you cuz you dont feel it as much or have as much impact as they do me.
Just like gear.
Fish oils are only 9 cals per gram.
The benefit of adding them to the return on health are massive.
So cheap and awesome.
Everyone should take them.

I really cant say more.
I will always take them and feel this is really necessary, unless you are a fish eater.
At that point you dont need to add all this.

Order Code: A39a
Omega 3 1000mg - 360 (size H)
£9.75

I have ordered from them on a number of occasions and they are very reliable and pretty fast to deliver considering its free when you order over £17 and only £1 if you order under £17.

Give them a go...
