Hey powerU were you on buisness or pleasure?
I always wanted to go to the UK somewhere to visit. I think that would be a blast. I go to Las Vegas every month and see alot of UK guys there. Seems that the place I go books tours from Europe there and I always bump in to British chaps and German people. The German guys are not half as fun drinking with as the British.

Pure pleasure, well kind of, mainly carried bags for a shopping frenzied girlfriend!!
What a fantastic country though, gonna make it an annual trip at thanksgiving, visiting a different city each year - we're talking about Chicago next.
$6 for a pint of Budweiser though!! If beer was that price over here, i'd be a very poor man!

You gotta love the states. My Dad lived in California for around 5 years until recently - I was gutted when he had to move back here! I used to take a few trips out there every year. Loved training on venice beach! Venice beach is great. For one thing all the restaurants do protein shakes and speciality meals for bodybuilders. Arnolds restaurant - schatzi - does a 'bodybuilder egg white ommelette' with cheese, chicken, mushrooms and loads more stuff - superb! I'd love to move out there someday. My soon-to-be father-in-law lives in Chicago but its never a place I've been keen to visit.

Whereabouts did you go this time poweru?

I paid about that much for a guinness in Florida last June - strangely the best guinness I've ever had and worth every penny. The US is the only place I've ever found Newcastle Brown Ale on tap too. It seems popular over there as they have it in california and florida.

I saw the Newcy brown on tap, only seen it in one place (in glossop) over here. I went to New York, still knackered - missed training this morning, the alarm went off at 6 but i just couldn't do it! Gonna forget it for this week, start again on Monday, feel a bit guilty though.

The best guiness you could ever drink is in the motherland of Ireland, it tastes so sweet compared to the bitter harsh sometimes "sick" taste here in England.
