You have an Amino Acid pool of 100g in your bloodstream, it would be difficult to exhaust this. I know people in my gym who take them before their workout, a few during and a few after. They contain the same Amino's as whey but in a more readily available form so there may be an advantage there. I think Cookie has used an AA supplement during training before also? which I think he used in conjunction with his 200 rep routines? Not sure of a good product to go for but Amino's are Amino's, go for the cheapest, or stick to shakes. HTH SD
