Ephedrine

Hi all, wondering if anyone knew what the current law is on bringing ephedrine back with you from overseas into the UK?

Is it illegal/legal to bring a decent amount back with you for personal use?

Thanks

Re: Ephedrine

If its HCL then it is currently a prohibited substance over in the UK. If its Pseudo then its pretty much OTC in the UK. Pesudo doesnt do anything for appetite though as it works purely as a decongestant.

HMRC should be able to advise as well. Give them a ring or write to them. Also see what the stance of the MHRA is as im sure something like Eph would also come under The Medicines Act.

Re: Ephedrine

Well its Eph HCL (tablets) and not Pseudo for sure.

I'll get in touch with HMRC. Thanks for that.

Eph HCL is available at very low prices overseas and it would surely be great if one could bring it over without any legal issues.
