Whey, would you sacrifice taste for protein content? - UK-Muscle Body Building Community

I walked into my local supplement store last week and picked up my usual tub of chocolate Prolab whey, as I approached the counter the owner tells me that Met-RX whey is an special offer for £25 per tub, I accepted the offer and bought it.

It doesn't really compare to Prolab for taste but there is quite a bit more protein per gram.

Just wondered what is most important to you?

depends mate.... when i first have a new shake i'm never keen on it it takes me about 5 to get to like it so yeah i probably would within reason

No... I'm very happy with Elite Dymatize. If I wanted more protein content, I'd just put an extra scoop in!

Quality and price, within reason. (I know those two are often conflicting requirements.

)

But I won't buy something again if it tastes really rank.

i buy unflavoured bulk, but im considering buying some all the whey banana as the flavour was lovely, just to keep around the house for when i want a shake. i use unflavoured post workout as to be fair i cant taste it its down me so fast

Since i found this "ultimate stack whey" its got to be flavour, this stuff is delicious

Anyone else get their stuff to taste like this i would buy it

but amount of protein is important, all the whey, seems to be just about the answer, it tastes good, has little feat or carbs and is a bit cheaper than the syntrax ( super duper stuff )

totally agree it has to be taste i would rather pay more and take more if it taste good i want to and look forward to drinking it.....

All The Whey for me though...

I agree 110%, if you like it, you know your going to stick to it and not skip shakes throughout the day. So just add more scoops per shake if your worried about protein content.:p

I only ever drink it with other things anyway, so the taste never comes into it, I try to get unflavoured but its hard to come by.
