Top brands in America? - UK-Muscle Body Building Community

Can any of the guys in America give me any kind of insight into what the current top brands/products are please?

I'm doing a little research as we are planning to open a branch in Illinois within the next six months or so. It seems the top brands are completely different there to whats top here - so I almost dont know where to start! Optimum/American Bodybuilding look quite strong. Also Dymatize. I'm presuming BSN are big as they have just signed ronnie coleman too.

Any help is much appreciated. Cheers.

i frequent bb.com (unfortunately) so i feel i have a little knowledge in this area..
optimum and dymatize are strong for cheap protein,bsn nitrix is worth carrying..vasapro is worth carrying (ephedrine) and legal! stay away from muscle tech!:@

We have over 1,000 brands here that are all popular. They each claim the right to best/popular brand.

Too true. Like with any market, every brand has to believe and project that theirs is best.

Silentbob, there are so many brands and it seems like each store stocks diffrent things with the exception of places like GNC, they are overpriced and generic.
I cant really give you a good list because I like some stuff by Biotest, Sans and other products like designer whey.
I went to the health food store for some colon cleanse and there were like 10 diffrent products to choose from.
I bought some proetin powder and it was kindof expensive but boy oh boy, that stuff does not mix at all.

I listed in my alchemy what brands and what supps I like aka use. its that simple.

EAS, have to be the most over priced supps. and tast like how i would imagine cardboard to taste (of course they may have improved taste since the last time, but once bitten twice shy)

EAS no no no no, do not ever reccomend that stuff. It has not got what it claims on the label! Almost 1/2 in some cases and always the wrong combination, yuk.

Instone is the new EAS (big hint here wink wink) Great ideas wrong combos.

I dont know how you guys health food stores look over there but in some places in California, they were old grocery stores stocked 6' high with stuff all around.
Everywhere you see supps, row after row.
One place I go to, you have to ask for help. It is just that big.
