I have seen a few articles recently about flax oil increasing estrogen levels too. So it's best to stick to fish oils for fat supplementation. Yes, I include the 12g of fish oils in my fat consumption. I would take more than that, but I get plenty of fats from meat and olive oil too. I believe chefx recommends 12 caps, and Hackskii does too and loves it. |

![]() | I just bought some high-strength Omega 3 fish oils (1000mg tablets) from Superdrug which has 31% EPA, as opposed to H&B's 18% EPA. Should I therefore look to adjust my intake downwards of 12 per day? I take it the EPA is the main factor, and being almost double the standard content, I could take perhaps just 7 per day? |

If you eat more stuff that spike insulin you need to be taking the 12 a day. Omega 6 and monounsaturated oils really help to reduce the spiking of insulin. Also the more vegetable oils in your diet the more fish oils you will need too.
