Its Bill Phillip** new supp company that he is doing in partnership with St#lone,

For those who love that conspiracy stuff go look at the old Body of w#rk vid and tell me if you don't see a partnership developing there ;) ;) also notice how the contest that St#lone is doing is almost 100% Philli## style?

(yes the ## and ** are in there for a reason as well as mispells, I have a load of stuff hounding me from the past and I don't need it floating to this board as well)

OOPs sorry Fits forgot, the 6 oxo is good in the product but the tribulus is in active (a waste) only a few companies produce the real stuff and the zma in it you would want only at bed time empty stomach as all food interferes with zma absorbtion, to make matters worse 6 oxo and triib both absorb better with food (see reference in alchemy to timing when to take)

Thanks for that Chef!

Your parst is vert mysterious lol

Whilst we are talking about supps, what do people think about Nitrix? any one use it? does it just give you pumps or are the other claims true? I can imagine people woudl just buy it for big pumps any way, to look good around the gym, just curious.

we're getting instone in stock at the end of the month. I might give forza t a go myself - looks good. been waiting to get hold of some for aaaaages - but the company doing instone in the uk dont seem that keen to sell it to other distributors/retailers.

I thought nitrix was great when I tried it. BSN say the effect starts off slow and then gets greater with time though, and I found almost the opposite. After a week I found my strength gains and pump were excellent, but after 5 weeks I really found the gains ground to a halt. Still I'd give it 7 or 8 out of 10. I was very sceptical about no2 products until I tried that one. Whilst I was using that was the only time I actually enjoyed training early in the morning (which I've had to do this past few months as its the only time I can fit my training in around work and family).

The feedback we've had on nitrix has been fairly mixed - everything from 'this is the greatest stuff ever' to 'it did nothing for me'. As with most supplements, results are so individual. If you dont train right and eat right anyway then you're not going to get results no matter what you take. There's been more good reviews than bad so far.

My question is... what is the goal of the supplement? Pumps? LOL

A very good question actually - and it was also my main concern when I first read about NO2 products. Believe me, I have always been very sceptical of the benefits of no2 supps myself - and until nitrix I wouldnt even bother trying one.

However, I find that for me personally the pump is very important. The better pump I get, the more I enjoy my workouts and the better mind-muscle connection I experience - hence the harder I train and the better results I attain. Thats actually why I hate training in the morning - because I can never get a good pump (perhaps because my glycogen levels are too low at that time). If I dont get a good pump when training I dont really get into it.

Many bodybuilders also believe that a strong pump indicates how effective the workout is. Arnold always used to say that he liked getting better and better pumps because he knew it meant he was growing. Now modern science is yet to establish a link, but a lot of the 'intuitive' wisdoms of old time bodybuilders which many dismiss these days is actually very relavent and for most people still hold true.

NO2 also has other functions such as driving blood and nutrients into the muscles which at least in theory should contribute towards muscle synthesis.

For me the bottom line is that the more pumped I am, the better I train and the more I lift, the more I lift, the likelier I am to grow...

from a science point of view the pump has very little to do with results.

but you mention the one thing most people workout for... what they feel now, not later on. and in that case the supp might have value, as far as results its worthless.

By the way, Arnold said that not in a documentary but a docudrama, it was a line, like many others, like many magazines ect ect.

He also says it in his encyclopaedia of bodybuilding.

I dont think you can rationally describe anything that improves your training as being worthless. For most people results correlate with how hard they train, how strong the mind muscle connection is, how 'into' their training they are, how much weight they lift, etc.. All of these for me were improved by using nitrix.

Have you tried it yourself mate? As I said, I was very sceptical myself about it until I gave it a fair try.

It is quite common to pull quotes from other materials when writing (by the way it was written by someone else, not Arnold)

I stand corrected on the second point, anything that improves training is of value, yes. I still follow the idea that everyone trains their best to the system each workout, I forget many people need motivation to push themselves. I guess that comes from working with athletes who no matter what give it always 100%. As their goal is winning. So in this case, a pick me up might have some value, but it then becomes a crutch, not a solution IMHO only.

Last but not least yes I have tried it, I have also lab tested it (them) and have found no value for them in my system. As a matter of fact for the cost I find it a setback for my program, hence I said it has no value but i should say its value is detrimental.

All in MHO only and no worries. IF it is working for you, stick with it.
Cheers
