I take interest in flax because -

concentrated fish oils have concentrated haeavy metals. the filtered oils are way to expensive.

Oil naturally in the fish is good but I don't think it's enough, and if it is you then got heavy metals.

Still I'm going to use this cod liver oil up anyway.

There are no heavy metals in fish oil capsules, it was a myth started by one company to try and sell their premium product (and is very very slow to die, take notice when I said there are many times that people quote some bogus science and even start to beleive it, I know certain things are bogus as I was there when this was made up. The BS has gotten out of hand at this point)

The heavy metals gather in the liver of the fish not the sub surface skin or flesh where the fish oils are gotten from. Fish oil caps have no or extremely low (lower than teh water you drink) heavy metals.

Cod liver oil is too high in vit A to take in the amounts needed to get the effect you want from the oil.

Flax oil is not the right ratio and is missing all sorts of key elements, plus you would need almost 10 times the amount to exert the effect that fish oils provide.
