Zinc - What do you think?

How much Zinc do you reckon i should be supplementing? At the mo im taking one 15mg in the morning and 30mg at night, do you reckon this is too little or should i be taking more?

if your using a good whole food multi, and taking the sleep stuff you have plenty
many people take too much and then it lowers test production, for short bouts it can be boosted (aka cold/flu for a week or two) other times keep it steady low

so thats between 30 to 90 mg a day total (about 1/2 of this should come from your food - Beef, pork, poultry, seafood, grains, and bran)

when you go over the 100mg mark you start getting rebound effect from it and it will lower test production (in some not all people and depends on the type and style/taken as well)

I know alot of people use zinc as a cure all for test production.

Id say if you are defficiant in this mineral then supplementation is necessary, but too many people use this in high doses for post cycle and think it will get the nads back quickly. I dont think this is the case.

Minerals regulate alot of the bodys functions. Getting one too high or one too low problems can occur.

Moderation is key.

I also read somewhere that intake for the average person should be about 15mg, and that everytime you ejaculate you lose 5mg worth!

Im deficient in zinc, have lots of white blotches all over my nails indicating this. I eat lots and lots of meat, always have. especially now. And for the first time (last 3-4 months) they have gone away. Lately however i have been supplementing 1 zinc tablet (15mg) and a multi vitiman tab (50mg) obviously totalling 75mg. On top of my meat consumption i am probably now exceeding the MDA? Shall i just cut the zinc tab out?
