Unhappy Glutamine with protein drink

Any point in me taking glutamine capsules whilst I'm taking a weight gain. There seems a fair amount in the drink already. Will I be overdoing it to the point where it's of no further benefit?

IMO

glutamine has benefit but only if your diet is spot on already and the other key supplements are being used first not to mention training hard enough to need it and on top of all that ...

ok I'll stop there, it doesn't matter LOL

IMO glutamine in a whey drink is horrible - v. gritty since u can't tell when its all dissolved,

Agree with Chef, diet needs to be spot on first (as with everything really),

Glutamine is best in the morn (5-10g), PWO (5-10g) and before bed (5-10g), in the morning and PWO at least

I agree, u need to be taking it on an empty stomach first thing in the morning, then PWO then before bed.

Appreciate your advice lads. Tried it first thing a.m last 2 days but gave me gut ache. Will stick to PWO and last thing when tum aint too empty but still far enough away from similar protein as I've been told.
