The Myth is on a distinguished road
Reflex Instant mass with barley oats.

In the past I used Pro Mass by Chem nutrition as a bulker but just bought a tub of this Reflex stuff as I liked the idea of slow release carbs. A

Has anyone else been using this and how was it?

i had a tub of the banana flavour and couldnt stomach it :( it was just too damn sweet for me,, think its just full of sugars anyway mate..

ive given up on the weightgainers although i did pack on some weight with N Large 2,, all i use now is whey with oats and other things blended in.

If I want some kind of mass gainer / MRP, which is rare, I always make it up myself.

Various forms of cheap powdered protein (egg, whey, casein), along with some raw oats or barley, and some good fats.. with some sweetner for taste. Costs a fraction of "mass builder" products and I know exactly what's in it.

I hate the new Instant Mass, doesn't mix well and is too sweet. NLarge2 is the best tasting/mixing but I agree with big above - mix your own.

Vanilla whey with oats and honey is the way to go, maybe throw some peanut butter in there too.

Instant Mass can sometimes be too thick for some. I hear a lot of good reviews about CNP Pro Mass.Dymatize do a nice tasting bulking shake - called Mega Gainer. A lot of guys love it I know!

I agree with you there mate. I liked the old formula but the new one mixes like sand. Obviously its a better product now, but much less drinkable. I can tell you that for us, sales on Instant Mass have diminished a hell of a lot since the formula switch. We find CNP Pro Mass to be the most popular weight gain product at the moment.

it's just a bit grainy because of the oats/barley in it, doesn't annoy me, it doesn't taste bad and you get used to it after a few days.

to nock out the graininess in the shakes let them soak about 10 minutes after mixing them, then restir a bit, it allows the water time to hydrate the fibers.
