I am sure they are required to label contamination such as sodium on the label as 10% sodium would be harmful to health if you were to front load 25g per day (another industry hype) that would be 2.5g pure Sodium! nearly maximum RDA. Sodium as a food additive MUST be listed on the label so if the lable says pure creatine mono, then that is most likely exactly what it is, regardless of the price.

True. Creatine Mono, wholesale, is very cheap and so it would have to be the con of the century to bother adding salt. Show me the proof and for why:axe:

NEver heard of that mate. To cause hairloss it would have to affect your hormones and I don't see why Creatine would do that, it is a natural component of red meat.

If creatine gave you hairloss then so would red meat, and I haven't heard of that.

I have heard all sorts of speculation about the sides of creatine, I have never experienced any of them 'yet', the worst I heard was 'sudden death syndrome'.

Basically, we use it at the university, it was thoroughly tested on the military and is one of the most used supplements available.

If it was that bad for you, w ewould know by now and someone would be screaming to get it taken off the shelves, or at least I hope so!

Red face

I dont believe that it can cause hair loss.

You get a lot of people who are sceptical of supplements and make any nonsense up to slate it down.
As SprtDr said if it did cause that then red meat would be ripped off the shelves or a severe government warning going round.
Dont worry about it as it doesn't affect hormone balances.
