Cissus question - UK-Muscle Body Building Community

I have just purchased some Cissus Quadrangularis 11% in an attempt to clear up a niggling injury and was wondering would it be ok to take this along with Glucosamine Sulphate?
I have been taking the Glucosamine for about a week now but haven’t taken any Cissus as yet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey mate you will be fine taking them both, chondroitin sulphate works really well with cissus i have found. You can usually get it mixed in with a glucosamine supp or on its own, i usually buy from holland and barrett.

Yes take them all, but cissus is King IMO

Nytol i read somewhere that in the US you can get 50% extract i got 3 bags from MP a while back only 11% i think, would the 50% be stronger?

Yes of course the 50% is stronger, and if the quality is equal it will be a good thing, as the effective dose of the 11% is 3-5g per day, which is a lot of caps as each will only hold 350-400mg.

Do you have a link for the 50%?

Thanks for the info.
Just opened the tub and it smells rank, a bit like the joke itching powder I used in school MANY years ago!
The tub I have doesn’t have a dosage label so I presume its 750mg in the morning and 750mg at night? Does this sound about right??

Ensure if you are going to buy this check the %

IIRC bulk supps direct will have it in the UK

Its Cissus Quadrangularis 11% USPLabs Extract. I have read that 750mg of 11% is the usual dosage but not sure if this is correct?

I would say 1500mg of the 11% would be the very minimum you would want to take, personally I would double this.
