Re: WHICH ONES ARE GOOD

best to keep changing mix things up a bit dont let your body get into a routine i does depend on what is best for you dont do what everyone else does as acids and such like are suplements try them for a bit one type at a time see which ones work for you then find a product sutable for you otherwise you can end up blowing a lot of cash for very little gain also there is no substitute for good food if you can afford it stick to a good protine shake just after you train and keep small meals going in four or more a day dont let body get hungry

WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING? Have a look at Myprotein or Bulkpowders IMO.

For flavour and quality, ON 100% is hard to beat. It's a great mix of mostly isolate, and some concentrate.

Re: WHICH ONES ARE GOOD

Personally I'm not a fan of whey isolate due to its digestion time being so fast. I would always recommend a blend of protein sources, even if its a blend of wheys. We use 2 concentrates and an isolate in our Performance Whey so i9t staggers the absorption time.

I personally like multi source protein blends due to them having the potential to have a complete amino acid profile.

Because he asked for a Whey, not a blend - Pro-Pep is excellent, I use it myself, but it's a blend therefore not admissable.

I also said in terms of flavour and quality. In terms of flavour, I think it's one of the tastiest available. So does everyone else I've met who tried it. Even my fiance's mother likes the strawberry flavour, and she's a non-bodybuilding 48yr old woman.

In terms of quality, ON are like Reflex in that they have their own factory, and have been producing this stuff for years. If you can show that it is in anyway lower in quality than anything else on the market, I'd be amazed.

Why do you think Boditronics and Extreme are better, is an equally valid question?

I'd agree a blend is better for daily snacking and non pwo times, but he asked what the best whey was. I'm not deeply familiar with Extreme products, but I am familiar with ON products and to be honest, they're excellent.

Perhaps ON have changed their forumla but i remember about 3 years back buying the ON chocolate and strawberry and both were undrinkable and nearly made me vomit, ended up passing it on to mates who couldnt stomach it either.

The best protein supplument on the market (IMO!!!!) is any of the CNP range such as propeptide.

CNP do make some excellent stuff - I can't say what their Whey tastes like as I haven't tried it yet, but Pro-Pep I'm a massive, massive fan of. That's a blend though, and the OP was after a whey only drink.

The strawberry ON is gorgeous now. Not sure if the formula's changed. I'm on the Rocky Road now and that's pretty lush too. Not sure on choc, haven't tried that in a yr or so.

After I gave my answer I sensed some abrasiveness from a couple other posters, so answered to address that.

I think the ON's a great product, and I doubt anyone on this board of elsewhere could prove different.
