BBWarehouse will become famous soon enough
New 5kg Pro-Recover

Just heard about this over weekend so checked to see if they've officially released it yet:

http://www.cnpprofessional.co.uk/pro...ink-p-136.html

Looks kinda cool. No doubt there'll be some good prices on it soon. Good to see CNP making larger, better value sizes now with the pro-pep bag and massive pro mass etc etc.

Just a heads up

Is that plus shipping? Ours is free shipping for 57.99....which considering it's a brand new product....I'd have thought would be pretty good lol!

You can also get 3 bags of pro-pep for 118.99, and pro-dessert for 21 quid

Re: New 5kg Pro-Recover

I just got the letter about this today. Quite pricey, I think the full RRP is about £80 or so, but I think it will go fairly well. Its a big outlay, particularly for those who've not tried it before, but I'm sure the regular users will go for it. 5kg seems like a big jump from 908g. I'd have thought they'd do a 5lber first really.

Yeah £55, but i pick mine up. As its only down the road from me where i get it. So if you think petrol costs probably works out the same.

Thanks anyway mate

I think it's going to be a big trade seller - the gyms would go through this size in a few days, and most will be doing silly amounts of smaller tubs a week at present. Perhaps that was the motivation?

I still cant get my head around the notion anyone would pay £80 for a product that is nearly 5/8 glucose
Especially when its £1-£1.20 for 500g when purchased
With a ratio of 50g of carbs to 25g of protein how does this product favour most people? Im not sure it does

To be fair, the hydrolyzed whey that is in it is quite expensive to manufacture (although I dont know precisely how much there is in it). I can see what you're saying though. You could just buy a hydrolyzed whey like vp2 and mix it with some glucose powder and it would be more economical.

You're probably right. We have a few gyms who order 40 or 50 tubs at a time of the smaller pots. It will be nicer to ship a few big 5kg tubs instead!

Re: New 5kg Pro-Recover

ok 5/8s of 5k is 3.125 kg

so lets call it 3kg, thats 6 bags of glucose at £1.10 each

call that 7 quid

so between the hydrolyzed whey plus a concentrate and some rhodiola rosea its £78 (retail is 85 quid) for around 2kg

good value? or good marketing?
