Just make sure you have got sufficient protein and carbs for after a workout and you should be fine!

I don't want to be " fine " I was to be excellent!, best as possible. :beer1: At the end of the day there are specific advantages of consuming a liquid beverage consisting of p/c/aminos pwo, that can't be produced by food ![]() Not that I'm saying don't have food post, have both!, just your shake first.

I agree with that but what i am saying is that there r big guys that put a lot of people to shame now a days and they didn't have any sort of supplements so i personally think that most of it now days are basically over rated!

Thats some good info there MXD cheers regarding that glucagon reference I can believe that about a normal person but what about a hard training athlete that has been training for years? His body his more efficient at handling the protein and turning it to muscle so I would argue that more HWP is needed. I know that CNP use HWP in their prorecover but I think I remember John Hodgson saying he mixes in a ProPeptide to boost the Protein content and he's a pretty knowledgable guy who is at the close end of their product research. I just think that its going to different for a 15-16 stone muscle beast than a 15-16 stone 'normal' trainer. And yes I agree that exo slin would make a difference to the uptake ![]()

![]() I do totally agree with you though about you needing more protein post and getting better results from that, Its speculation on my part as I don't know any one as developed as you thats tried this protocol. I've just had a look at cnp pro recover and it does contain hwp, but also contains whey isolate. I would think the isolate would slow down the di and tri peptide fractions of the hwp, also it doesn't specify what the degree of hydrolysis is or the fraction of the 2. The best / closest very good all in one pwo shake would be T-nations / biotest's Serge. Have you considered bying some bulk hwp of my protein?? You can get a 100g bag for 2£ maybe try it for a few weeks? .....maybe when I'm 15 stone and shredded I can put it all to the test  :lift:

Its something I would like to try in the future if I could be bothered to get all that stuff together as I think the combination of that with a slin shot would really cause a bang. One of those 'if only I could do this' situations. At the moment I am getting on fine using Vitargo and teh Extreme Perfomrance Whey Pre and Post workout with Glutamine and Kre Alkalyn. Im always in search of the perfect Workout rocket fuel. Good info onm this thread I think,.

| Cymru Wales Welsh Am Byth | Hello Im having to change my supplements again got problems taking them and I had to do even more research on them again and having to go for Unflavoured 100% whey the best protein out there and contains nothing else added FREE of fillers, sweeteners, flavourings and thickening agents this Unflavoured. Im getting 10lb (4.54kg) Unflavoured Impact Whey Protein £36 in post from www.myprotein.co.uk Key Benefits of Impact Whey Protein (Unflavoured): No artifical ingredients Fuel for your muscles to build Bland taste and instantised for easy mixing Protects lean muscle tissue Nutritional Information (per 30g): Energy 118.0cal Energy 497.0kJ Protein (dry basis) 24.6g Protein (as-is) 23.6g Fat 2.1g Carbohydrates 1.8g Im having to change to this cause Im having problems I tried maximuscle cyclone and that was bad pains and stuff after 2 months stopped that. Then went on to PhD synergy the stuff great but after a month now I can feel slight movement pain which is dam shame its great stuff so would recomend still but I cant have these supplements anymore I've got to go for 100% whey protein and nothing else in it so the stuff really good. I have orderd the new stuff now will see how it goes but if this dont work I just have to keep of supplements but I've spoken to lots of experts out there they recon this solve my problem with no added crap in it cause alot of people have the same problem so fingers crossed I be ok with just whey protein. One good thing I can mix anything with this being unflavoured so milkshakes or smoothies or anything which is wicked. Nutritional information I've looked at lots of shakes and jesus there full of all sorts you look them up and there shocking whats in the dam things. This is the only one I've now found its got hardly nothing in it al rest have like 30 or 40 things in them and that's why I'm having problems taking the stuff. If myprotein dont work I will be 100% food and drink only exercising it dont bother me one bit so this will be the last try Im having in a shake fingers crossed it be fine with less crap in it for me like. |
