i ordered chocolate flavoured 100% gold standard protein and the feckers delivered strawberry instead! as i was running short i didn't have time to send it back etc etc.

my question is has anyone tried this strawberry flavour as it tastes so much like maximuscle strawberry flavour and wanted to know if it was the same company/suppliers but they have just got different name/price? what was weird as well is i got a free shaker with this sack of protein and it was a maximuscle shaker that got me thinking!

i didn't order from the maximuscle or 100% gold standard website.

i think the strawberry and the vinilla are a bit sweet and so was trying to order double rich chocolate. just thought the strawberry reminded me of maximuscle stuff!

With all due respect its not a massive issue. Protein powders are not a gourmet meal. Just use it for what it is and buy chocolate again next time (and hope thats what comes)
Maximuscle tastes poor from experience but down the neck it goes and I would not be suprised if it is made by someone else who puts out other products with the same flavouring

Ha I did the same last week after ordering on ebay!
Missus was nattering a load of sh1t as usual and I forgot to specify what flavour when on paypal, rang them the next day to change the order but it had already been dispatched!
Ended up selling a £60 bag of whey for £40 to my plumber, he was very happy!!

The strawberry's not bad, it's a bit sweet whereas I find the chocolate isn't sweet enough. But as Bob said, get it down yer neck!

No, I very much doubt it would be the same manufacturer for those two brands as ON is manufactured in the USA (as you'd expect) and I'm sure Maximuscle manufacture theirs in the UK. Who knows though, maybe they use the same supplier for the flavouring ingredients.

Your supplier probably gave you a Maximuscle shaker just because they have the most of those. We are currently giving Dymatize or BSF shakers with any orders we offer free shakers with because we have 1000s of them. The ON shaker, last time I looked, was nothing like the Buchsteiner ones we all know and love over here, so you dont tend to see them in the UK.

I find ON Whey kind of chalky myself to be honest. There's a lot of whey proteins of a similar standard that I find much more palletable.
