When do you take Creatine ??

About to start taking Creatine....But looking for some advise on a few things.
The tin says take some 4 times a day for 5 days, then reduce it to twice a day.
Is this the best way to take it and if so when is the best time of the day, especialy on workout days, do you take pre or post workout ? or morning and before bed ??

Appreciate any help

Steve

Yes that's the best way

When 'loading' for the first 5 days just split the dose up evenly and make sure you have one serving immediately post-workout on training days, ideally mixed with some high-glycemic carbs (apple juice is ideal).

After the first 5 days again, post workout is best.

Cheers Lorian

I usually take some fast acting carbs and a protein shake post workout, So is best to mix the lot together as a shake (Creatine, protein and glucose) post workout, or have I totally lost it now !!

Do it! .. that's about as perfect as a post-workout shake can be!

Well, V12 does not have carbs in it and it does have L-Glutamine in it which is an anti-catabolic agent.
I take it first thing in the morning just waking up.
Then I would (but dont) take it after a workout.

Before bed stuff like L-Arginine and L-Ornithine will be good, so would ZMA.
If you want to lose some body fat then no carbs before bed.
