PRE-WORKOUT

hi guys at the moment pre-workout im eating 2 bannanas and a whey and creatine shake , is there anything else i should be adding or is there something better i should be having . seen loads of energy type drinks like no-xplode ect ect what do you guys recomend as a good pre-workout drink .

any advice greatly receved :confused:

I find honey is a good carb source pre workout,mixes well with your protein and creatine.

I would be on my ar$e if alls i had was a few bananas and protein
I usually have decent sized meal consisting of Tuna/chicken pasta/veg or meat pots & veg about 90 minutes before a workout, followed by a pre workout drink (im just using bulk powders AAKG at the mo) i take this about 30 minutes before i train

Agreed,i also have a solid meal about 2hrs before,i was taking it for granted he meant just prior to workout

I think I am correct in saying that having protein immediately before training hinders your post-workout protein because this won't be absorbed so quickly, and this is the time when you really need it.

I just have 50g fine oats and 1 1/2 scoops of whey roughly 30/45 mins before workout. Oh and also 3 CEE caps. :smoke:

I like to have a caffeine supp before my workout and usually a whey shake aswell

That sounds like a load of bollocks to me.

Personally, I prefer whey+oats shake 30mins before WO+caffeine + And Animal Pak
