Good Tasting Potein / Snack Bars - UK-Muscle Body Building Community

Hi All,

Topic pretty much sums it up. I currently work from 8:30am to 6pm each day and through a mixture of being too busy and being a bit lazy in the kitchen don't eat enough protein. I have been supplementing my diet with protein shakes but i feel my diet is too liquid at the moment and would like to have 1 shake mid morning and 1 protein bar in the afternoon.

Please let me know the best tasting and protein bars that you have had - i want to be able to enjoy the experience

Money aint too much of an issue but i would prefer not to buy rip off priced goods.

I had a maximuscle one the other day and I'm ashamed to say it tasted amazing. Dark chocolate orange - however, I really wouldn't recommend making something like that a regular thing.

Myprotein.co.uk do some reasonably nice raspberry ones.

I'd prefer to have a chicken sandwich anytime though.

i would never normally recommend this company but maximuscle dark chocolate promax bars are one of the nicest ive tasted

ha ha invisible got there before me, they are tasty though, the diet ones are for people on a diet obviously but have still got 18g of sugar per 60g bar??!!

ive never rated maximuscle but yes there bars taste good. There shakes are rank!

cnp bars tastes like crap, the choc flapjacks are awful...i'll let them off coz the peptide is tasty

:lalala: i can beleive im saying this aswell...Yes..Maximuscle promax bars are really nice like the others say!... :( god i feel raped

but ive seen that the PHD Smart bars are good value for money also!

EAS Myoplex bars are bloody good.

My best so far is trioplex cookies though

metrex collosal 100 are also good, its not the flapjacks by cnp, its the pro bars, twice as much protein as the pro flapjacks, and only has 12g carbs

I like the cnp pro XS bars, not like yorkie but adequate (plus 30g protein and only 4g of carbs)

yeh ive had them didnt rate them, im a fussy bugger though, i didnt like the colossal ones either, except the apple pie ones there nice, the caramel ones are ok too, but the cookie cruch are like eating gandhis flip flop
