Hi guys,

New member here. Diving straight in at the deep end with my first question

Myself and my partner are trying for a baby.
During this time is it best to stay off the Supplements as will there be any chance they can affect myself being fertile? Currently taking Creatine and Noxplode.

I understand certain steroids might affect semen count and quality - but would your run of the mill supplements have any affect also? She is a bit put off with me taking them too at this time. :(

You should have no problems taking the above supps,infact a bit of arginine or tribulus might even help you out!

As said above you will be fine with them, avoid any pro hormone kind of products if there are any still left on the shelves, as they can have a neg effect, and not too many positive effects.

all steroids effect Sperm count and motility apart from Proviron which increases both, i would not put any faith into either Arginine or Trib both are supposed to raise test levels they will do nothing for sperm count or motility as there is no direct link.

It took me and the wife 15months for her to fall pregnant with our last child i had to take 11months off gear for my levels to return to normal and even then when my test levels where high my sperm count/motility was not it wasn't until i used proviron and PT141 that my sperm count went through the roof and jen got pregnant...

Yeah I didnt realize that you had taken PT-141 Paul? I bet that and Proviron combined was a potent little cocktail!!

PT-141 is in the PCT caps by ROHM mate it was after 6 weeks on these that jen fell pregnant

Several guys I know have had to have a year at least off to help getting the mrs pregnant. I took 8 months. Another guy I know did the job while fully on and dieting for comp, so its possible, but not so normal.

my little girl was conceived whilst i was on cycle but i had to take 11months of the gear for my little boy

Hi guys,

Thankyou for the advice regarding your 'soft supps' (Creatine / NoXplode etc).
Very interesting read also regarding posts above on gear and conceiving too!

Regarding creatine (mono capsule form), when is the best time to take it?
The instructions on the tub recommend 3 capsules before workout then 3 after.
Does this sound sufficient - should I also take 1 to 3 on non-training days also?

It works on a short accumulation basis, so am on empty stomach and post-workout tend to be best.
