Post Workout

Does anyone have any opinions on whether PWO drinks such as Pro recover, Build and recover, Growth Matrix, Surge etc are worth using rather than whey and some carbs. Also, which would you recommend. I was thinking of trying some Pro Recover as its ingredients seem a bit more suited to PWO than Build and Recover (which I have tried and tastes ace).

Re: Post Workout

personally i only use 50g whey isolate, 60g dextrose and bcaa's as my pwo drink. i find that most premixed pwo drinks only contain basically what i use anyway so it saves a little.

Cheers
At the moment i'm using Whey, and Allsports Amino Load (carbs and Aminos). Previously I was mixing honey and Whey. I just thought I might try something different for a change.

They usually through some glutamine in there as well. Creatines also an option.

Re: Post Workout

I'd be interested to know how you get on if you try one of these instead. At the mo I have Cellmass (CEE) as soon as I finish then I use a weight gain drink about 15mins later. I use PhD Pharm-gain because I like the taste, 40g protein and 40g carbs lthough I know they are mostly low GI. When I run out of that, I'd like to try one of these as well.
