Reflex Micro Whey

I'm using Reflex Micro Whey at the moment. when i mix it as per instructions on the tub, its like chocolate water rather than a shake!

it tastes ok but just wanna know if anyone else is using it and if it should be like this.

cheers

Re: Reflex Micro Whey

I have used Reflex in the past, always appeared to be good quality, mixed ok etc.

Not sure what you might be comparing it to, but when mixed with water most of them are like that unless they have a lot of thickeners added, and you don't need them.

H & B's desogner whey has a lot of thickener, and is like a shake with water or with milk, but adding all that thickener is not necessarily a good thing.

Re: Reflex Micro Whey

Yes micro whey is a 'thin' mixing shake. This is because we do not add any thickeners to the product. Additionally it wont be as thick as a concentrate blend as it has less fat and carbs.

If you want it stronger flavoured then mix it with less water or even add more powder. The mixing instructions are just a guideline!

Re: Reflex Micro Whey

Thanks for your help guys, there was nothing wrong with it, just wanted to make this is how it should be.

i prefer it this way to be honest, i can drink it and it doesn't sit on your stomach like a shake can.

I would definitely recommend it!
