enzyme supps?

wade mcnutt, the pro body builder, is a big supporter of enzyme supplements, and i'm wondering if anybody else has heard of the advantages of enzyme supplementation, or if anybody takes them, do they work as well as they are promoted to? here's a link to which the are advertized, http://www.masszymes.com/video/shock...ultssmall.html

any advice or thought is appreciated.

That site looks awful, full of hype and outrageous claims, avoid this product IMO.

Enzymes are usefull, but only if you have difficulty digesting the food you are eating, this is pronounced by, gas and bloating amongst other symptoms.

There are many credible enzymes available, Udo's do an expensive but comprehensive multipurpose one, or you can go for specific enzymes for specific macros such as Protein, carbs etc

If you are using AAS and have to digest large meals in one sitting, usually containing 50g or more of protein, then enzymes may be useful to you.

An ordinary diet, with reasonable levels of macros will not need supplementation imho.

Again listen to your body, is it telling you, you are having trouble digesting your food? If not then don't worry, extra enzymes will not help.

You will be better off getting a good acidophilus bacteria product to keep your gut healthy.

Lol hadn't noticed that name!

Another tip is to eat lots of Raw food, it contains natural enzymes to help digest your meals. For example if about to eat a cooked meal, start it off with a small salad.
