![]() | What are your guys thoughts on the top price supplements like muscletech , compaired to the cheap powders you can get from health food shops, ive heard its all about the B.V. (biological value) of the protien, rather than the amount of grams, so does it work out better to have 25 grams of expsensive stuff compaired to 50 grams of cheap £20 a tub stuff???? Just wondered why there is so much difference in price. |

| Banned | Depends on how much grams of protein per 100g of powder. Also, could be different derivatives of protein - whey, cassein, soya etc. Genearally speaking, I don't think it works out any cheaper to buy a "cheaper" Health Store own-brand like H&B's Muscle Fortress. £32 will get you a large tub of whey protein from a respected supplements brand online. Or you could look into unflavoured bulk ordering, from someone like Bulk Powders who advertise on this site. Works out significantly cheaper...and can't for the life of me work out why so many people whine on about taste anyway! ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | plenty of companies produce good suplements- just make sure you dont pick one that has an inflated price due to a massive advertising campaign. for example-Extremes supps are top notch and less money than the big companies. (pay me later dude )

| UK-M Swimsuit model | Timmo we cant all be iron-guts like you taffy's ![]() Taste is the most important thing for me, I used CNP stuff all the way, as I like the taste but also I think they make some really good products, pro-preptide and pro-recover being my fav. What a few peeps do is buy a cheap protein like bulkpowders and do it 50-50 with a nice tasting one like Extreme - which you get a nice discount on by being a board member. If your on a budget tho, there is nothing wrong with 6 eggs and oats mixed in the blender with a pint of milk ![]()

Check them out before going else where, very good quality, good clean taste, good price too. Most importantly, for me, it does not froth up to twice it's volume when you blend it, I hate that, :( |

| Sexy Moderator | Im just mixing Dymatize elite whey with MyProtein Whey Isolate at the moment. Bulks up the tub and im not keen on sweet things, so dulls the flavour a bit. I also add dextrose to it PWO (20g - 60g depending on if im using slin at the time)

I'm using chemical warefare supps at the moment which taste ok and are cheap at fitness development near me! I also love CNP products like pro-mass although it uses so much MILK which ends up costing loads lol

![]() | Hi, Well our latest news posts puts the rumours about our quality protein to bed... Take a read below.. Proof our products are of the VERY highest quality. All of us here at MP have been sick and tired of certain other companies and individuals slating our products for not being as high quality. Well we thought enough was enough and sent a few of our protein powders off for testing to a very well respected third party independent UKAS accredited testing laboratory in the UK. We have included all 4 original test certificates below. We weren't surprised by the results and we are sure our loyal customers aren't either, but we hope this will finally put the theory of our products being poor quality to bed once and for all... Again we stress the only reason we are cheaper is we sell direct, we don't rip you off and we don't waste lots of money on fancy packaging and advertising. For the links to the certificates click here: Thanks
