Commit yourself? It's powdered carbs, not marriage and kids dude

I like myprotein.co.uk personally. They sell it for £3.50/kg and have always given me pretty good service. Not sure if it's cheaper if you buy it in bulk from them but probably is.

Do you think maltodextrin is better than dextrose PWO?

Either is fine, or a combination of the two. You just need to get some carbs and some protein into you fast, and the best way is fast acting sources in liquid form - and either malto or dextrose is fine for the carb portion. If you can be bothered, use 30-40g of each with 60g of whey and some creatine in a PWO shake.

Personally right now I'm having honey PWO cos it tastes so nice and then a protein shake a few mins later

PWO shake you dont have to have sugar carbs this can be complex and there are many studies to prove this.
You are very insulin sensitive PWO, you dont even need those nutritionless sugary carbs.

I can smell a debate comming very soon.

I've read many conflicting reports and studies.

Would say, for example: 40g Whey, 40g Dex or Malto and 40g oats be a sensible compromise?

To be honest I dont think you need any simple sugars in the PWO drink.
I have a list of quite compelling arguments taken from pub med studies that refute the simple sugar theory.
You are quite insulin sensitive PWO, I doubt that simple sugars are needed.

Check out that thread in vinegar and glycogen, that will blow your mind.
