what do u think of this stuff

this is what i bought

http://www.winningwayssports.co.uk/c...roductid=HR715

it says on the tub that it's got glutamine, but is it enough (it says on the tub: "glutamate/glutamin 21.1" per 100g

and also i've been thinking about some weight gain product such as this one:

http://www.winningwayssports.co.uk/c...roductid=HR714

will this do the job?

any comments appreciated.

Langers is on a distinguished road
Looks ok I suppose.

I personally tend to stick to the Reflex protein products.

doesn't look top quality...? how can i tell?

here's some details of it taken from the website:

Whey Protein Isolate - microfiltration

Winning Ways pre-digested Whey Protein is considered to be the most nutritionally complete protein available and is an ideal addition to the diet of athletes and body builders. Easily absorbed and high in essential amino acids and branched chain amino acids. Whey Protein Isolate can help build and support muscle tissue. Cross flow microfiltration is a process where a microscopic filter is used to separate the proteins, to yield a high quality, low fat, low lactose whey protein. This method has the highest potential for preserving the most nutritious parts of Whey Protein.

Benefits of Winning Ways Whey Protein Isolate

A perfect ratio of essential and non-essential amino acids
A low glycaemic index
More than 50% of the essential amino acid profile is branched chain amino acids. These are important in maintaining muscle tissue and reducing catabolism
Low in fat, lactose, sodium and calories
Pleasant tasting in a selection of flavours (see top of lid for the flavour of your choice)
Whey Protein has also been linked with

Supporting a healthy immune system

buy a reputable brand mate. all of ^^^^^^ that is just marketing bollox!

For whey, buy relflex/dymatize are IMO the best value for money

for weight gainers, promass/n-large2 are best

Nutrisport %kg for £60 - the chocolate tastes pretty good... and I read an article in No BULL that it was one of the only products that had the actual Amino Acid profiles (it actually exceded them)... reflex, and prolab didn't even feature.. Having said that I do like the Reflex stuff. but for £60 I'll gladly swap to nutrisport.
