Creatine CEE - Swollen Throat

Guys,

I've recently started taking Creatine CEE as a powder mixed with juice/water or a PWO.
Over the last couple of days my throat/tonsills/glads have become swollen. Has anyone heard of this happening before?

I thought it may be tonsillitis as the swelling didn't start until a couple of days after I took it for the first time. I've stopped taking it now to find out if it was the Creatine. I got it from www.bulkpowders.co.uk if that makes any difference whatsoever.

Does anyone know, if it is the creatine, if people have the same reaction from taking in tablet form?
Thanks.

this may sound strange but I went through a stage that when I started a creatine cycle I had the same probs. It got to a stage that I was uncertain whether I should continue. However, I did and it has not happened for 12 months or so.

To be honest I have not read anything which would indicate that it increases your suseptablility(?) to throat infections or such like. I still beleive that when starting the creatine I may have over trained. I now know that when my glands do tingle (in my throat before anyone says!) that it is a sure sign of overtraining (even without the creatine!).

Hope that helps, maybe some of the more experienced guys could something here.

I used the same CEE from Bulk Powders without any side effects, although it tastes f**king disgusting!
