Glutamine - sounds a silly question

Hi Guys,

Can you help me. I went to the Tropicana HO the other day (thats where I get all of my supps from).

I turn up every month or so with my order in hand. However, yesterday they said that they were out of the brand of Glutamine that I usually buy. The guy said 'we have L-Glutamine which is better'. Is this true?

I though L-Glutamine was the same as Glutamine - or was he just trying to get me to buy the more expensive product and playing on my noobity/niaivity?

Big Unc - that is what I thought. I got the feeling that the guy (who sounded like he knew less than me) was just trying it on. But it was one of those occassions that I just went along with it just in case there was some merit in what he was saying.

Glutamine is a BCAA, it is not an essential one but it is classed as one as it contains Carbon, Hydrogen, Nitrogen and Oxygen.....

There are 20+ BCAA's and they all have there benifits, there is loads of stuff on the web about them.
