![]() | Udo's oil blend Seems to be a very popular and recommended blend here (omega 3-6-9 oil blend) so I bought a bottle and have been taking 2 teaspoons a day (1 in the morning, other in the night). But that's not the point here, the point is how do you, who have been taking this for some time, make it bearable to take daily? I have a pretty strong stomach but always find myself gagging a couple times trying to down it. Obvious choice to me atm would be to blend it with something, but what? So, because I don't like vomitting, I'm asking for your help ![]() |

If you already have a diet too high in Omega 6 fatty acids then why supplement that? If the ratio of Omega 3 to Omega 6 should be 1/1 to 1/4 and the current diets are 1/10 to 1/25 then why add any Omega 6 to the diet? Olive oils have Omega 9's and fish oils have Omega 3's with the best profile of any Omega 3 food. Not only that but fish oils and olive oil is cheap. I myself do not like the idea of adding any Omega 6's to my diet. I dont add them but what ever I get out of my foods. I do however take 12 fish oils a day and swear by that. I never taste the fish oils as they are in gel caps. Problem sorted..........

![]() | mixing it with yogurt didn't work out all that well... As for it being rancid, I wouldn't know really. Bought it new, and have kept it in the fridge. It doesn't give off a horrible smell and to me it looks healthy so who knows. I'll give the protein shake a shot later, thanks for the suggestions |
