Protien and creatine

Hi all,

i was just wondering is it ok to mix my protien shake with my creatine? i say this because it would be far easier for me, - less time and all that!!

This has always puzzled me. I once bought some creatine and on the pack it said do not take with a high protein meal.

However, recently one of the more advanced BB's advised me that that was not really the case and that it would be ok to add my creatine to my protein shakes, ie straight after training.

There's no reason why you cant mix your creatine with the protein, you are supposed to intake creatine and protein after training as levels of creatine are depleted, and your cells need the amino acids for recovery, so go for it!

I would intake some simple carbs with it though, ideally some glucose powder because its cheap and does the job. If your loading up on the creatine use roughly 20g of glucose for every 5g of creatine, after training use a bit more glucose roughly 40g your muscles will thank you for it!!
