Apart from Pre-Work like No-Expode and Post-Work like Whey Protein.
What else would be a beneficial supplements to take? Something thats more general, rather than weight gaining supps or anything too specific.
Consider adding a fast acting carb source like maltodextrin or wazymaize to the post workout protein shake to replenish glycogen.
BCAA'S, Flaxseed Oil, Multivitamin are all things I would consider, as pointed out though all these things are to supplement a good diet.

I find I get more benefit from BCAA's intra-workout than I do from creatine imho.

Creatine too. Simple creatine monohydrate is pretty much always a solid choice, or if you want to step it up, I ran Ancient Strength a while back and as predicted, I saw some significant strength increases.

why say food on a thread that clearly asked what "SUPPS" that could benefit. food isnt a supplement. its food.
i would go for a slow release night time protein. look at other more specialist nutritional supplements like specific post-workout shakes, a staple protein and as i say a night time slow release blend. other than that i agree that an intra-workout BCAA and high GI carb product could help.

Only took for a month so not sure this was a decent trial but if you got the £££££ then go for it.. but works out pricey supp.. rather spend it on quality food

I heard that Red Meat is good for protein/creatine/iron etc, So that may be an option from a natural source.
Doesn't Whey Protein have BCAA's and doesn't NO-Explode have Creatine?
Or is that a small amount and additional amount would be more beneficial
