Its a basic weightgainer, if you are looking to put weight on 2 or 3 drinks a day will probably be enough calories to start bulking up, there are better quality gainers mammoth 2500 is good stuff, so is prolabs nlarge 2

Thanks for that. I was looking at Progain but didn't want to fork out a lot of money if it was just a faze I was going through, or that I just needed a supplement as an addition to what I was eating. It just tastes really nice! The only bad thing I've heard about it was on another message board that it had testosterone in it, but weider didn't put that on the label. I didn't think a company such as weider would do something like that.

Thanks again.

Wouldn't be cost effective to do that (put test in it)

Although rumour has it a UK company a while back did put low grade Dbol in their weight gainer to generate interest.

They are out of business now.

High calorie weight gainers generally put on fat quicker than anything because of the amount of sugars in them. Therefore they are best taken PWO.

Some exceptions to this rule have complex carbs in and they are fine to take in through the day but I would use them as a supplement to your meals.

e.g. I have a solid meal every 2 hours but in between this I have a weight gain shake consisting of 25g protein, 30g carbs and some EFAs.
