![]() | biotest - hot rox Hey guys, I have been cutting for a few months now trying different fat burner (lean system, xenadrin etc). After trying many I have to say BIOtest HOT-ROX is the winner, allowed me to drop calories real low while not loosing any muscle. It is not cheap, although I got it off ebay a lot cheaper than the rrp (40 squid). Hope this helps some one |

![]() | hey, I used it for 3 weeks. 6 protein (isolate) and fat (optimum oil blend - holland and barratt). Had some pysillium husk (spelling?) fiber supp, plenty of vitamins and the hot rox, and CLA (unsure about usefulness). I dropped about 13 pounds of Fat with little muscle attrophy (lifts not as intense due to the deep ketosis nature). Performed light empty stomach cardi most mornings (not easy) Although for those interested learn how to come off the diet correctly (I failed here, know better now, ask if interested), anyone want more specific info just ask. Food is such a tempory enjoyment, good body is perminent (keep telling your self this) http://www.t-mag.com/html/body_107fat.html http://t-mag.com/html/body_113fat.html |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Sorry for sounding slow. Lorian/Musclehed, is this like the Atkins diet? Ketosis? Does this help with the Ketosis while on Atkins? I am going to diet soon and am just reading some.

![]() | hey hackskii, firstly ketosis (im a uni chem student so i love this stuff). Ok, so have no carbs gives rise to two major metabolic changes, insulin secretion reduced, in turn the pancreas produces glucagon (catabolic, but can be used to our advantage). Glucogen has the secondary effect of converting fatty acids into ketones (great). when the ketones are at a high enough level, muscles use them instead of glucose. Ketones that are not used for energy are ****ed out (you can use ketostix (**** stix) from chemists to check u in ketosis) or breathed out (hence the bad breath from low carb diets. When all of this happen u are in KETOSIS Fat fast is a version of atkins in as much as it uses high fat/high protein. Although all ketoic diets ARE NOT THE SAME there are huge differences (cyclic, use of carb ups (athletes do this pre marathon often (blood glycogen adavantages but thats another story). hope this helps and i havent bored too many ppl references cited Dan Duchain - Body opus p.s. if it sounds unhealthy eskimos live there whole life in ketosis |

![]() | Firstly robin, Fat fast is a drastic, painful, torture. Is it healthy NO not really, thats why I would never do it more than 3 weeks and few and far between. But it works, 2 waist sizes and a few body fat% as proof. If you got the time just have hypocalocalic P+F (afternoon evening) and P+C (morning) diet. Jock, Heres what biotest say about the ingredients (yes it is ephedra free) http://www.t-mag.com/nation_articles/250hotrox.jsp As with any supplement a lot is on trust (well trust a supp company advert???? I judge things on does it work). And remember supplement are a waste of time with out good diet, the amount of times i here friends complaining fat burners dont work when they have pizza hut all ya can eat. |
