Bulkpowders: My first order - UK-Muscle Body Building Community

Ordered my first batch of stuff from bulkpowders last week. After loads of people saying how good it is and how cheap it is.

For the price of my usual Reflex or Optimum Nutrition 5lb tub i got me a tub of bulkpowders whey, when i say tub i mean bucket ;) and 500x1000mg of omega 3 caps.

I was gonna get me some flavouring aswell but thought i see what its tastes like on its own, and its lovely dont need flavour tastes beautiful in milk, bit dodge in water but if you keep the water to a minimum and down it, its good.

So to anyone thinking about getting this stuff, then go for it.

same here (although im not man enough to try it without flavour,lol)

also theyve got some stuff which is powdered porridge oats, which is cool. easy way to add cals to a weight gainer.

as a side note, placed order at about 2pm last thurs and received it 9.30 the next morning!!!!

Try it flavourless its good...

Mine took a little longer to get to me than next day :( ordered Tuesday morning last week, got delivered on the Friday.

Why buy powdered porrige oats, just get a 2kg bag from asda for about 50p and blend them dry until powdered?

The flavour systems are good just nice to have a change, I don't bother about it in the morning as I have it in water with two bananas and oats so that flavours it. But as I say the flavour systems are really nice for a change and really do taste good.

try adding some concentrated sugar free squash, works a treat especially the strawberry flavour, nice and cheap too.

Did you manage to get the lid of yours okay, boy they are sure made for staying on, its like a biceps workout just to get the lid off

just cos it was there!!

thought it was novel, and TBH using a hand belender can be very hit and miss, lumps arent a thing i welcome!!! to have it there and done for under £2 a kg is good enough for me!!

the oats are fine, but they dont taste good! u realy gotta have a strong flavour shake to hide the oat taste, but with taste buds like urs u wont notice! LMAO

Thanks very much for the feedback guys!

The Scottish oats are ultra fine and classified as an oat flour, so im not sure whether you would be able to get them to that fine a grade with a hand blender/mill. Also as big pete said, we decided to offer them for convenience as they are ready to use straight out of the tub.

Personally i like the taste, it may be slightly different to some cheaper oats as ours are high in fibre to aid digestion.
