![]() | UDOs is good but its a touch pricey, there are cheaper alternatives. For example take a look at the NOW Omega 3-6-9 blend which is a fraction of the price.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Udo's is a top product and I think is only fully appreciated after a decent period of use. Really good for the naturally porky among us (me!). I follow the same technique as Tom does in his administration of the oil. I bought some ALCarn, Taurine, Citrulline malate and something else from Bulk Powders and the stuff is rank beyond belief and is practically unusable because of the foul "make you vomit" taste. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Well paul, the problem I have with Udo's is the fact that the average Amreican diet is too high in Omega 6's to Omega 3's Optimum would be 1/1 to 1/4 and that is 3 to 6 ratio The typical American diet is 1/10 to 1/25 3 to 6 ratio This is probably 90% of the problems with inflamation for Cardio Vascular Disiase and or congestive heart failure. So Udo's in theory sounds good but dose essentiall little to actually help the ratios. This is why I take fish oils, the EPA and DHA are an Omega 3 and this brings the ratio closer to the range that is preferred. Fish oils are cheap too and easy to take. I take 12 a day, I also take some flax but that is due to someone gave me a bottle, other than that like I said if your ratio was too high Udos would not really help. The idea is good but unless you used zero oils in your diet and cooked on teflon, or boiled all your food then it is not that good idea.

Also have fish oil supps Hackskii! Have two brand new bottles of Udo's I won! Anyone want to do swaps with supps? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I dont add any omega 6 to my diet. The only other fat I would even consider would be CLA, that being an anticancer, antioxidant and a natural fat burner fat, this would be it. Fishoils are by far the cheapest and best profile for Omega 3's, next closest would be flax but other than that toss all the other crap in the trash. If you want to add some fat in your diet olive oil and butter. Don't get me started on the butter it is actually healthy and I will post the benefits apon request. Cook in the higher saturated oils, this will prevent the oils from turning into trans fats like the vegetable oils do and this is very unhealthfull. Cook in butter or lard. Lard has one of the best profiles of any cooking fat. Crazy huh? Do not cook with vegetable oils.
