Hi mate,

Kind of depends on a few things. Budget and goal really.

If you have a decent diet and are getting enough real foods, then you will only need 1-2 MRP's a day. I only have two so I get a good protein for after my workout and a gainer for the evening.

If you are trying to lose BF then I would just stick to a protien and not a gainer. If you are trying to gain weight then I'd use a gainer and have 2-3 a day, as well as a full diet.

If your on a budget then a lot of ppl use Bulk Powders which has a link on the home page. I would buy some protien, some creatine and some glutamine. In your PWO shake stick a teaspoon of creatine & glut and two scoops of protein blend it up and knock it back. If you have a bit of cash I use CN Pro-mass for a gainer and CN Pro-peptide after workout with some glut and creatine which works well.

Sorry if this dont help much but post up some more info like goals and supp history and I'm sure more ppl with guide you further.

im on a tight budget so i get 5kg whey £25 + a tub of creatine £25

2 scoops whey in water 3 times a day (one with 5g creatine after training)
the whey is unflavoured & dosent taste to bad, but u can get flavouring but thee creatine just tastes like ****
i get it all from BULKPOWDERS.CO.UK

I use Sci-mentor Whey Excel or their Premium Whey Pro together with their Creapure (same brand as Reflex use) depending on my budget!

The whey excel is a good quality protein, contains both Whey concentrate and Micellar Casein so you get a mix of both fast & slow protein release in this one product.

I use to use the CNP pro-peptide but found it to be way too expensive as they only sell it in 907g size tub. The Whey Excel is just as good but comes in a 2.25kg tub so works out much better on a budget which is why I changed to this!

i don't see why people still bother with mono, CEE is far superior on all fronts (performance wise, economically and in-terms of efficiency), i'd recommend going with that over regular C mono

yes, but to get the best effects of mono it needs to be mixed with a simple sugar such as dextrose to increase the effectiveness of absorption (taking mono in water wasn't very effective for me, however with dextrose it worked quite well), however consuming an additional 40-60g of sugar a day is no good for ones health or waistline, you also need to use about 4x the dose (10g ED is recommended, as opposed to 2-3g for CEE) this actually makes mono work out more expensive in real terms, if you are bulking and really can't hack the taste of CEE powder i'd say mono would be the next best option, i'd go with that over CEE caps which are not worth the cost IMO when you consider how cheap the raw powder is

i like Extreme,s stuff

ive only used their protein and build and recover though.

Never used creatine but im going to give it a bash in the next week or 2, i just cant decide on which to buy, ive narrowed it down to Extreme,s, Prolab,s or The San V12 stuff, any thoughts appreciated.

this is an old theory it has been proven that you do not need this amount of simple sugers for Creatine Mono to work this is the reason Cell Tech was done with a low suger content...but even if you did use this amount of simple carbs after training then you should not suffer in the waist dept...

How much Micellar Casein is in the whey excel??

If its an appeciable amount there will be more Glutamic acid, but there is only 11.56gms/per 100gm in your product.

Pure casein has about 20.5gms per 100gm

and whey has about 17gms per 100gm

Doesn't look good from where I'm standing.

You say you are on a budget, why not change to buying unflavoured then?

Bigtime mate. I first had the creatine in the changing rooms straight after training. I mixed it with the protein shake and nearly threw up! Now I take them separately, get the craetine donw in one mouthful, then wash it down with the protein, then wash that down with a lager....err i mean water!

have put on up to 10lbs in a week using these products with no real workouts that week. went up to 155kg.
