![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | supplements while getting lean hello all. im new to this site and been out of training for a while so you'll have to bear with me. ive started training again after 2 years out. at the minute im carrying alot of fat mainly round my waist and chest. ive decided to try and cut down rather than build muscle for now. since starting training about 6 weeks ago ive put quite alot of lost muscle back on straight away which is good, but im now trying to loose the fat. ive dropped my (food) calories down to about a 1000 a day which normally includes a small bowl of cereal, a small dinner and an even smaller tea, mainly chicken based with very little carbs. on top of that though im taking 4-5 metrx whey protein shakes a day spead evenly (with skimmed milk) im also having a couple of spoon fulls of gluamine, 5gs of creatine a day and ive just started with hmb. ive also been taking ephidrine for the past week and ive lost a bit of fat, but im concerned the lack of calories may make me loose the muscle (even though its still improving). what do you think of the diet??? is it worth me taking these supplements while im dieting? ive also got some tribulus coming this week, will i be ok taking these with the ephidrine??? all help is greatly appreciated. ps.... im 25 weigh 14.5 stone and im 6ft. 16inch arms, 44 chest but a 38 inch kite lol |

You burn 80 cals an hour just at rest so when you consider that you will burn 1900 cals just living you are already below your survival rate. Post up your sample day's diet and I'll try and help. effy is a good fat burner, HMB is good but you have to take high amounts. Paul Scarb used this for his last show I believe so maybe he can help with the dosage. I think it's a waste of money though as all the studies done on it were funded by the people who were selling it and they used sedentary individuals not hard training athletes. Tom

I used HMB to maintain muscle not as a fat burner but to use HMB you have to use alot more than it says on the tin for any results.
