Whats the best Protien Bar? - UK-Muscle Body Building Community

Before i spend some pennies on protien bars, what are the best ones?

I was thinking of bodypeak pro50's ?

Extreem Protien bars are the best and tastiest from what iv heared, and not too much $$ and I think you get discount from tem if u let him know ur a member of of the board! or make ur own ( I DO

i,ve just been away on business for 4 days so i took a couple of boxes of CNP xs pro bars...

and apart from getting stopped at customs
(apparently 24 individually foil wrapped bars in a sports bag is suspicious)
they did the job just fine .

i was tottally isolated from shops, resturants, and civilization so it was my only choice ,

i necked one every 3 hours thru the day and got wireghed this mornin i actuaaly gained a few pound,

but if you have a choice it whole foods all the waty for me.....

there the first and only ones i ever tried too . hope this helps

best ive had for value for money is title pro 50 but i buy them by the box not the bar

lol yeah, peakbody, sorry! I just been reading over on muscletalk that the pro50s are stuffed with collogen and basically no good for you???

few people raving on about 'myprotein' bars?

personaly i wouldnt use any peakbody products the bloke behind it has no respect for fellow bb at all if hes willing to let people inject crap that he passes of as the real thing from his UG lab then he sure aint gona be botherd what crap he puts in his suplements for us to eat
this ofcourse is just my opinion

I like Trioplex bars, although this is strictly a MRP bar. But yummy all the same.

Don't really like protein bars as they need loads of artificial ingredients like polyols and collagen to thicken them up and make them taste nice. Even then they taste rubbery. Haven't tried the Extreme bars so can't comment on them.

Does anyone remember those Weider Banana Protein bars? Now they were yum. like a Milky Way in texture and so moreish.

Ive heard the same rumour about Peakbody and dodgy gear, do you mean the apex copies?? as they are absolute crap. I wouldnt use peakbody either

PeakBody are cheap, with high dose of protein per bar. But there has to be a reason for this right? Lower quality ingredients I think ....

Tom, our bars have no collagen, no aspartame, no acesulfame K, no polyols, no gelatine or any other nasty you can think of.

We re-formulated a few products this year to remove any ingredients which we thought may eventually be proven to be counterproductive to someones health.

And guys you do get a discount for being a board member, just pm me first.

i ended up buying the Met-Rx big 100's there a MRP bar, but i got a good deal on them, 24 bars for £24.
