i was thinking that we don't see ronnie coleman finish his workout and down a protein+high GI carb shake,he heads down to have real food after his workout.i haven't seen any pro's that i can think of with a protein shake bar cutler also,so i had a look and found this article.good read.

If everyone focussed on their other meals as much as they do pre and post workout, then everyone would be big and lean...

Well it doesn`t take a genius to work out what the guys did before supplements came along, and they did fine...

All marketing hype and the use of drugs to force greater nutrient upload into the muscles, thats what the post workout supplement market is based on...

supplements are just for convenience really, i would much rather eat a good solid meal any day

Milos Sacrv always uses pre during and post work out shakes and if he does it its good enough for me.
