Re: pale skin - vitamin advice

Progesterone defficiency can cause dark circles around the eyes.

Also striVectin-SD would be a good thing.

Off the top of my head it could have something to do with Vitamin D.

Re: pale skin - vitamin advice

Dark skin under the eyes can be indicative of a number of problems, fatigue being the most obvious. The Chinese have a system where they analyse the colour and relate it to organs in the body, so a herbalist may be worth a visit.

FOr an initial boost, tell her to take 2x multivits per day, but be careful of vit A dose if she plans to become pregnant or is already, Ginseng can be good for fatigue also.

If I come across anything else I will let you know.

SD

P.S Its also good advice to get ehr to avoid all stimulants for a while, caffiene, chocolate etc.

Re: pale skin - vitamin advice

i'm surprised that nobody mentioned iron. Also if this is seasonal - it may just be your body responding to lack of natural light (happens to quite a few people). Do you also suffer depression over these months? if so then you can get a natural light lamp to use in your home, natural light contains a few unexpected things - like lithium (a natural anti-depressant). When looking at a sunset/rise (the only tie you can look directly at the sun) lithuim is drawn directly into your brain - which is why many people find it comforting.

useless facts.

Not only that but I passed that on yesterday with a guy that was shooting sunsets and showing the pictures at work.
Man, those were some beautifal shots over the ocean.
One looked like an atomic bomb went off as the sun was over the sea, it was bright orange and some red.
That is when I told him about sunsets and the ol lithium deal...heee heeeee, played it off like I knew it all along....haaa haaaa
