yea i started training for the worlds today. for the squats i was fully equipet ~(wraps, belt, and sute with the straps up) for deads jus belt and sute half way up. but i could have done 6-8 reps for each of them but wanted to save my energy

but like i sed it went rlly well aint squated or deadlifted for 3 weeks either.

got 6 weeks left till worlds hopeing to get bout 250 - 260 squat and dead

yeah you start getting into even heavier weight and you don't have a belt you could really injure yourself. Not matter how careful you are. Also using straps to wrap around the bar and your wrist can help when doing that heavy weight on deads. Very beneficial. Maybe you already know this.

I use straps, but never used a belt. And I haven't even seen a lifting suit...well, apart from those sexy pictures of Chris Jenkins...! ;)
