Bodybuilders can relax once they are out of the gym but that is where the work really starts for us. If you (like me) are hitting tackle bags for 8months of the year then you need to make sure you are eating enough in the way of protein and carbs to build and maintain muscle but also keep your energy levels up. When it comes to training you need to cocentrate on compound lifts (squat, deadlift, bench press) stretch to 20mins 3x a week and keep an explosive element to your training.

| Banned | It's like the guy in your Avater. It's picking up a barbell from the floor and standing up straight with it. Sounds simple, right? Well there's a surprising amount of technique involved. This compound exercise will work your legs and back, including Quads, Traps, Spinae Erector, forearms (grip). |

Sorry to bump up an old thread but: Make sure you DO NOT put on too mass on your shoulders if you are hoping to improve your butterfly, too much bulk will restrict the arm the recovery phase (the over the water bit). If you do put too much on, you will soon find out, lol. | |
