Andy Bolton pulls 1003lb Deadlift!!! - UK-Muscle Body Building Community

Andy became the 1st man to pull over 1000lbs at the WPO in New York 2 days ago, congatulations to the big man, :beer1:

He also became the 2nd British guy to bench 300kg, he missed 320kg, as the judges said the lockout was uneven, (AJ Roberts was 1st, earlier this year, although he is living in the US at the moment, he is a UK citizen).

Aye awsome. My mates done 260 bench in a comp and he is unreal but 300 is totaly insane and a 1003lb deadlift FFS!!!

Which comp and what weight class?

260 is a nice bench

just watched it a little earlier, that really is some mental deadlifting!!

just seeing him pull at the bar before he actually lifts (the bar flex's without the weight coming off the ground!!! lol ) give a massive indication of whats about to happen!!!

fair play to the man, and made it look *relatively* easy!

it is a awsome deadlift and a big milestone in the deadlift. Im sure he'll be setting a new target in his deadlift now, he'll also pick up $10000 that was put up for the first man to pull 1000lbs.

I dont know if the site will have a problem with this, (I hope not as it is supporting a great UK lifter), but Andy is selling signed Inzer T shirts, to commemorate his WR deadlift, and to help fund his trip to the WPO finals at the Arnold Classic.
