yea well happy

im so happy i just beaten my personal best of a 160 dealift for 1 reps to a 180kg deadlift for 2 reps at 17 what a good birthday present. ahaha:lift:

although.. if your personal best was 160.. i hope you worked your way up to 180 and not just slapped it on and gave it everything you got.. deadlifts are no joke and like any workout you can cause a serious injury if not done with correct form.

either way you achieved 180 so nice 1 and goodluck with more record breakers.

thanks guys yea its about 9 months now. i was thinking of going into competition does anyone no were i can get good info about this and is it done in weight classes or age???:lift:

I believe at your age you would be in the 'juniors' or under 18s.

I am assuming you are natural, so check the BNBF or NPA websites.


If you get a copy of BEEF magazine, all the competitions are listed in the back.

There are few comps left this season. Next year's season will start with Titan in Feb, NABBA qualifiers in Ireland around this time, then kicks off in April really.


Different federations have different classes, some go by height, some go by weight, and usually the only age class is under 18s, under 21s, over 40 (masters) and sometimes over 50 (masters as well).

Well done on your PB!

Do be careful, it is quite easy to 'do yourself and injury', and some will 'remind' you of how you weren't careful the rest of your life.

I am sure the links have been posted on this site before.

I think it would be a good idea to have a sticky thread with all the feddies contact details, major comps each year, and for the girlies, if you can wear a g-string or not, and how BLING you can be for the evening show.
