![]() | Calf strength Hi all I just started doin calf raises at home, I did not have proper equipment before. The thing is, I don't know how strong my calves are, and how strong they should be related to my other muscles. For example, for a person who benches 100 pounds, and barbell curls 50 pounds, what does the average weight for calf raises suppose to be? 200 pound? 250? I just want to have an idea for my calf strength, of course everybody is different, but can you just give me an idea, maybe from your own poundages? Thank you... |

![]() | Be better to compare squat strength against calf strength. You should find you can standing calf raise more than you can squat raw.
