If this is correct (and PubMed/AMJ aren't likely to be too wrong!).. ouch!

What this mean is that we have always estimated test enanthate to have a half-life of 10.5 days due to the fact that it has 7 carbon atoms. (7 x 1.5 = 10.5 days).

In actual fact, if this 0.7 is correct, then the 7 carbon atoms in test enanthate means that it ONLY has a half-life of 4.9 days. Quite a difference and throws off any "roid calculator" I've ever seen.

Fortunately I base my PCT on active life anyway ;)

I dont care how many carbon atoms there are or what ever anyone says.
I do know how I feel when there is extra test floating around my system.
I can tell by a number of things like:
Hotter than normal
Greasy face
Increased sex drive
bigger pumps in the gym
high blood pressure (red face)
Sleep problems

Now this is only me and maybe because of my age (I always say that

) but what goes for me might not go for others but if you know your body then you are one step ahead of guessing.
Ive done enough cycles to figure this one out all by myself.

And if that was in fact the case Big, would not the test kick in quicker?
Would not I feel a shot of 250 within a couple of days then?

I can only go by what things do to me.

Well to some extent you may/should do. Certainly my sex drive is considerably higher within very few days of starting test enanthate. It's only the strength gains that are slower coming for me - but that's because they come as a result of supercompensation after workouts, not solely the result of injecting the test.

I have always personally thought that half-life estimates were kinda high anyway, which is why I posted that.

You're starting your PCT based on your knowledge of your body, which is great, assuming your recovery works each time.

It's the people who base their PCT on the half-life of a substance that this was more aimed at.

I have taken one 250 shot of enenthate and noticed it for 19-20 days. But I am clean.

What works for one won't work for all.
I think the younger you are the faster the recovery, In general.

Last cycle I took a 500 shot of Test E, I didn't start losing weight until two weeks five days after that time so I think this is when it had reached a low concentration in my blood.

Nice info. The one with the graphs of different esters does seem to show a much shorter half-life for the cyp than we've come to estimate.

The reason i always advise enanthate to be shot no less than every 5 days is the fact that i always understood its rise and peak to be over that time.....it stays in the system for much longer than 5 days but its only a dribble compared to the first 5 days
